Customer Reviews
Poorly made kettle.
After each use the enamel flakes off the sides exposing a rough black subsurface. I've had this kettle for 10 days! Too bad. Sweet design, but cheaply made (like so many products these days).
Tea Time has never been so sweet!
I painted my kitchen cabinets with a creamy light olive color and dark olive green walls. I wasn't sure how this color would mesh with the scheme -but I am tossing some blue accents in. Oh my goodness, this was perfect! The style is just too adorable and the kettle holds PLENTY of water for LARGER cups of tea. I hate it when I get a kettle and it holds barely two large cups of water for tea or hot chocolate. But this one is the exact size and holds what I need.
I remember in the 80's my sister had a copper kettle in style of this one and I was so jealous and wanted one. I was on a fixed income at that time and just had a baby so I couldn't afford one.
I not only have that old-fashioned style of a kettle she had but now I have a pretty blue with blackish flecks! How unique and worth the wait! The tiny black flecks mingled in with the blueish kettle gives it that old fashioned look and looks so good on my gas range. This blue is also a very different color blue.... it's really a unique color.
So in all -I give this kettle FIVE stars out of five for style and size. It does not whistle when it is finished, however.
Pros:
Color availablity
design
size
uniqueness
Cons:
Hard to choose what color you want because they all look nice
Does not whistle
LOVE LOVE LOVE this teakettle.
I absolutely love my Paula Deen teakettle. It is so pretty in my kitchen. It pours so smoothly unlike others I have had. I would definately recommend this to anyone who doesn't want a whistling teakettle.
